Immaculata employs a hub structure to publish and share pertinent information to various user groups. Users are enrolled into their respective hubs using their profile built on Banner.
The Office of Curriculum & Instruction (C&I) manages the content of the Faculty Hub and Student Hub on Moodle. Between the hubs and the MyIU Portal, faculty and students should be able to access any forms or information needed. Please note, that members may cross over into other hubs indicative of their unique path within IU.
The following graphic depicts the current hub structure employed at IU.
Beginning at the highest level, College Hubs (Beginning Fall, 2023) are accessible to all members of the respective college and managed by the respective Dean of that college as a repository for college specific documentation, announcements, and resources.
The Faculty Hub provides you with central repository for forms, policies, quick-links, and best practices and is accessible to all IU faculty. Information for various academic resources (writing center, etc.), including directions for use, are published and available for you to incorporate into your courses in Moodle. Please familiarize yourself with the Faculty Hub and its resources, checking back frequently for updates and additions.
Students have access to a Student Hub with similar features. All Immaculata faculty also receive access to the Student Hub and can see what the students are able to access through that site. You are encouraged to direct students to use the resources the Student Hub provides.
Hubs for specific majors/programs - Major Hubs - have been developed for various programs and groups at IU.
Should you have any questions or recommendations for any IU Hub, please reach out to the Office of Curriculum and Instruction.

The Office of Curriculum & Instruction acts as the content manager for the following central repositories for forms, policy, quick-links, best practices, and training for all Immaculata University Faculty. Announcements are made at the start of term via the Faculty and Student Hubs alerting members of upcoming deadlines, changes, and alerts. Faculty, students, and staff users are encouraged to check back regularly for new resources and updates.
There are a number of underlying resources within each hub created for academic support. The goal of these sites is to support academic learning and offer training to students, instructors, and curriculum developers.
