Faculty must ensure all videos published with the intention of embedding them into their course for student view are ADA compliant. Regardless of the system you choose to produce the videos, please follow the Making your videos ADA Compliant with Closed Captioning for your course procedure to publish them on Moodle. Once you have created your recording, please follow the three steps below on how to convert a voice over PowerPoint presentation to .MP4 format and ultimately to YouTube to create ADA, Closed-Captioning compliant recordings.

For this final step, you will upload your .MP4 to YouTube for automated closed captioning. Click on the button below to be redirected on how to create a Closed Captioning compatible video from your .MP4 file. (required: Language must be set to English)
Please note, closed captioning is not retained in the videos. Should you wish to upload the video to your Individual Personal Mastershell or term course, videos must first be converted to YouTube using the procedure published in the Faculty Resource Center titled Making your videos ADA Compliant with Closed Captioning.
