Building your course content in the Learning Management System (LMS).

Please use this page for useful video tutorials on many of the moodle basic functions.

Remember, this site is searchable using the magnifying glass in the upper right hand corner of your screen. Simply type a keyword and anywhere they are found a link will appear for you to delve further into that area of Moodle.

This step-by-step content was developed to assist faculty building either their personal mastershell or course from an empty shell. Please navigate to the sub-sections via the menu on the left side of your screen.

Also, faculty are encouraged to use the Moodle capabilities within their courses. For a comprehensive and interactive resource, visit Moodle Doc use the MoodleDocs site to locate the most recent published instructions from the service provider including directions, quick guides, and resources. The searchable Moodle site can also be used to locate specific How-to instructions by using the Search MoodleDocs conversation box on the top right of the screen.

Remember to toggle to the current IU version of the system. Effective Fall 2023, IU is operating on the 4.2 version.
