ERASMUS PROJECT 2ND MOBILITY FRANCE ALES 01APR19 TILL 05APR19

MANUFACTURE OF KART UTILISING RENEWABLE ENERGY.

Arrival at Ales France on the 01.04.19.

First day meeting at “ Lycee Jean – Baptiste Dumas “ college. After the usual introductory speeches by the Headmaster and his assistants, we were shown the college’s Auto Repair Workshop this for the students to acquire knowledge on how to repair the motor section of a vehicle. At the workshop there was a mix of conventional combustion engines and electric driven vehicles.

Tuesday 02.04.19.

Visit to the Pole Genie Electrique IUT of Nimes

Wednesday 03.04.19.

Meeting to discuss the project ( all partners involved ). Students’ visit to the Science & Technology Dept. A workshop between all students regarding work / modelisation on solid works. Environmental issues / debates ensued in the classroom, following which technical discussions were last on the agenda.

Thursday 04.04.19.

Visit to the Ales – Covennes Engineering Centre. Here the students had a hands on experience on various electrical adaptation to karts & a farmers’ tractor. A demonstration of the ability of an electrical system could be adapted with success to these machines.

Friday 05.04.19.

Visit to various departments within the college namely – Electrotechnical, CRSA, Production Automation and Boilermaking. Discussions between the students regarding safety precautions on the KART. Group works : Maintenance activities & consignation ZOE ( TMVA Class ) with teachers.

Late morning : Attendance certificate ceremony presided by Mr. MAX ROUSTIN – Mayor of Ales.
