Workshop F001 at IES Gregorio Prieto (Spain)
Model of Kart ToniKart
October 23th, 2018
Using this Kart model, the benefits, spaces and design that our Hydrogen Kart could have were discussed.
In this meeting, the different manufacturing possibilities were discussed with the pilots of AFKarting de Tomelloso ann responsables of CNH2.
F002 Deparment of Automotive
October 23th, 2018
Each country will use a different energy for the construction of the Kart. Here I put them:
Italy: pneumatic energy.
Malta: electric solar energy.
Germany: manufacture of a kart for energy collection.
France: electric solar energy.
Spain: manufacture of an electric Kart with hydrogen fuel cell.
*Kart: Single-seater car of small size that is equipped with a two-stroke engine and automatic clutch and lacks gearbox, body and suspension.
This day we have met to talk to each other about different general aspects of this project. Such as:
The rules that must be met.
The type of energy that each country will use.
The model of chassis that will be used.
The energy that we will use in the construction of the kart.
The budget that we have.
The characteristics of a Kart.
What other materials could we add?
The power and speed it should have.
Deadline we have.
The conclusions agreed upon in this meeting are the following:
Our kart must have a power of 13-14 horses (60-65 km / h) that we would like to have a range of more than 30 minutes.
Regarding the weight of the kart would be about 100 kg with everything included. Wheels, batteries, chassis ...
The weight of the pilot who drives it also affects the driving, so in total it would be about 178 kg. approximately.
We have a total of 3 years in which the Kart must be built and ready to move.
The vehicle will be used exclusively for recreational use and for testing.
