Reflection
Using iMovie, I created a video on how I've changed since 7th grade last year. This is because I wanted to show how I had gotten better at soccer and how my life has changed.
During this process, I re-learned how to use iMovie. Last year we did a project similar to this, so this was a good project to re-learn the skills and how to use iMovie.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global collaborator because my video is on my website for the world to see.
A challenge I overcame during this project was having my photos deleted when my iPad glitched and I couldn't log in. I overcame this challenge by quickly finding my photos again and making up lost time.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Film editing because my project deals with editing a video and Film editors edit films, documentaries, etc. Experienced film editors make around $168,000 annually, with entry level film editors making $60-$80,000 annually.
