Reflection on my project

• Using iMovie, an iPad, Creative commons Pictures, Music and sound effects. I created a video about my favorite things and places

• During this project, I learned how to insert images, music, and sound effects into a iMovie

• The seven standards of the class are Empowered learner, knowledge constructor, global collaborator, digital citizen,  innovative designer, computational thinker, and creative communicator.  My project connects to being a computational thinker because I used technology to create and share the video.  It connects to Global collaborator because it is on a website shared with the world.

• A challenge I overcame  was  figuring out how to add music to my video. I over came this challenge by  looking through the iMovie settings and figuring out how to add music

• Given a chance to do this project again I would change  the quality of the images and videos I used

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings high school

• My project connects to careers in  filmmaking because it relates to putting together videos or images to make a film.
