7P9 Robots

Reflections 

• Using Sphero Bolt, I created a triangle for the robot to go around, because it seemed like a challenging thing to do that would be fun. We spent most of our time working on it unfortunately.

• During this process, I learned how to code several robots and make them do different things. I figured out how to connect to them and how to make them do what I wanted. I learned what each of the robots could do and coded them accordingly.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global collaborator because videos of my robot are on my website for the world to see.

• A challenge I overcame during this project was people accidentally running into our triangle. I was able to overcome this challenge by moving our triangle away from were most of the other people had their robots.  We then had enough time to finish making the robot go in a triangle.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the number of things we did with the robot. I would change this because I feel like we could've done more  things with the robots. We only were able to make it go in a triangle, and I would like to see what else they could do.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the computer['  programming CTE program at Hastings High School.

•  My project connects to careers in Robotic engineering. Robotic engineers make robots and repair them. They work in things like manufacturing, healthcare, and research. Their annual salary is 152,970
