My stop-motion

Reflections

• Using I motion, I created a stop-motion video of a guy exercising because me and Connor chose that as our positive life choice theme. We had them lifting weights, doing pull-ups, sit-ups, and pushing a big tire. We put it into iMovie and added music and put everything in the right order.

• During this process, I learned what it's like to make a Lego movie. I also learned how to put together the pictures together right to make them run smoothly. I learned that 1080 pictures is not as much as it sounds.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global collaborator because our stop-motion video is on the internet for everyone to see.

• A challenge I overcame during this project was when all of our photos were deleted. We found out all of our photos had been deleted. Luckily, we still had a few days left. I was able to overcome this challenge by taking more photos and staying focused.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change how my hand is in the video sometimes. The reason I would change this is because our stop-motion video is pretty good, but my hand in there kind of ruins the magic. It also distracts from the actual video.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  This is because our stop-motion video can only be viewed online

• My project connects to careers in motion design. Motion designers animate lots of things, including films, logos, websites, and more. Their annual salary is $76,634 dollars year.
