Planning Questions

Are you working by yourself or in a team?

I am working with my classmate Ava.

What materials will you need for your project?

We will need and iPad, Computer, greenscreen, and iMovie.

What is your plan to create in this project?

We are going to create a podcast about Hastings sports and activity's.

What unique qualities will your project have?

We will include all of the days and time of the sports and activities happening in hasting throughout the week.

Day 1

I wrote my list of ten good ideas and Planning questions. I also started writing the first script.

Day 2

We started recording today but unfortunetely we couldn't finish in time.

Day 3

We finished our first episode and exported it to our weebsites.

Day 4

We started recorded the second episode. But we didn't have time to finish everything.

Day 5

We recorded the third episode but are still having difficulties with the second episode so we are going to redo the footage tomorrow.

Day 6

We recorded our last episode today. We also added all of the episodes onto our websites.

Day 7

I made my reflection and that makes my project come to and end.

Make sure you have your video of a project

Using an iPad, computer, iMovie, and Microphone's, I created a three episode podcast because I thought it would be a good skill to have for my future. This is a great skill to have if you are going into computer programming or acting. I really enjoyed making these episodes, it taught me a lot.
During this process, I learned how to make a podcast through iMovie. Going into this project I didn't know how to do any of these things. I asked my classmates and teacher lots of questions. I loved learning all of this new stuff and researching facts to put onto the podcast.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to creative communicator because we shared positive information about our school online. We loved sharing all of the fun things going on in our school.
A challenge I overcame on this project was the mics not working. I was able to do it by talking louder and trying to fix the connections on the mics. We ended up not using the mics because they weren't working.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the topic of the podcast. The reason why I would change it is because the topic we picked was very boring and we could have picked a more interesting one. If I did it again I would change the topic to different jobs in our future and the colleges you can go to.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. It connects to this because we made and shared something on the internet.
My project connects to careers in Directing movies and shows because they create/make different films and show them to the world through the internet. I think this job would be very cool to do in my future. Overall I loved working on this project and I think that anything dealing with Digital Multimedia would be good for my future.
