• I used an app called iMovie to design and produce my video about me. I created a video about myself because I want people to know about me when they look at my website. If people want to learn more about me they can by watching the video, but if not they can just look at some of the writing to learn about me.

• During this process, I learned how to insert pictures, voiceovers, background music, and transition in iMovie. iMovie helped me learn a lot about designing and producing small videos. I had a lot of fun exploring and experimenting putting pictures together. 

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner because I decided what I was going to make my video about by myself and I designed the video the way I liked it. I really enjoyed being able to design my video the way I wanted.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was finding and adding pictures that I thought matched my personality. I was able to do it by searching different things until I found the picture I thought matched me best. I only used pictures under the Creative Commons Licenses.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change some of the pictures to more accurate ones. The reason why I would change it is because I think the photos I picked aren't very accurate. I believe it would be better because I would be able to show more up to date and true pictures.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multi Media CTE program at Hastings High School.  Digital Multi Media is the use of digital technology to create, manipulate and share various forms of media such as images,audios and videos.

• My project connects to careers in videographer because it involves editing software and showcasing videos. They also do other things such as sound production and film editing. Videographers are important because they help with communication and connection to the audience.
