We made are list of 10 then we descussed what we want to do for our video.
We built are scenes and started to take pictures. We made the scenes of the guy running the red light then the cop took him to the jail.
We built the scene of him leaving and going home then we built the scene of him goinmg to work.
We built the scene of him going to work and his coworker getting him fired. The he goes and gets a job at Mcdonalds.
We made the scene of him going home and telling his family that he got a new job. When we were making this scene we realized that we were taking the pictures on the wrong site so my storage was full. Now we have to take it on a new i Pad and transport it at the end.
We made the scene of him working at McDonalds then we made the scene of him going to the store and helping a home less man.
We finished the scene of him giving the homeless person food and then we made a scene of him meeting a woman and buying a house.
We finished our movie and started editing it.
We made our video and our reflection.
Reflection:
Using an iPad, Legos, iMovie and iMotion, I created a video about making good life choices and how bad choices can affect your life because I thought it would be fun and creative to tell a good story threw stop motion. In the video it tells a story about a man running a red light and how it affected him life later. It shows how he lost his job but then changed his life and started a new family.
During this process, I learned I learned how to make a stop motion video and how to use the app iMotion. During this process i maded lots of mistakes but finally we got it done. We only made it to 936 pictures but thats because we had two snow days.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered learner because I thought of and designed my own stop motion video. We came up with the idea to make a video about a person running a red light and how he changed his life after.
A challenge I overcame on this project was taking the pictures threw iMotion. I was able to do it by exploring and asking other people around me. I made many mistakes but i finally over came them and got everything done.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way I took the pictures . The reason why I would change it is because I took some of the pictures in the camera app but then my storage got full so we had to take pictures on two iPads. This was a very confusing project but I enjoyed the challenge.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multi Media CTE program at Hastings High School. Digital Multi Media is anything that is on a computer screen or electronic device.
My project connects to careers in Motion Design because they work with stop motion and animation shows. This seems like a veryb fun but difficult job. I don't think I would be very good at it.
