Planning Questions
Are you working by yourself or in a team?
I am working by myself at some times and with others at different times.
What materials will you need for your project?
Computer, iPad, circuit playground express, adafruit website.
What is your plan to create in this project?
I will create many different codes that show up on the device.
What unique qualities will your project have?
The device will be able to show different codes on it.
I made my list of ten and planning questions. i also tried to make two different codes but I couldn't figure it out today.
I figured out how to get the code to show up on the circuit playground then I made more codes.
I made a magic wand code. A three color code and clap lights
I made another magic wand but with different colors. I also made a power up power down code
I made a code that does every animation in repeat. Then I made a purple sparkle code.
I made a loud noise detector
I made a blinking code and made my video
I wrote my reflection.

Reflection:
Using a computer, iPad, Adafruit circuit playground express, I created many different codes because I liked exploring the website and creating new things. While exploring I would sometimes mess up codes or make codes that didn't quite work out. I learned to push threw and keep trying to make the code right.
During this process, I learned how to use a Adafruit Circuit Playground Express and how to code it. I made a lot of codes but they were all pretty easy codes that were simple to put together. This made it fun but I feel like I could've made harder codes
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Global Collaborator because the work that I did is being shared with the world. On my website all the work I so is being shared with the world.
A challenge I overcame on this project was putting the code into the right file so it could transfer to my circuit playground. I was able to do it by watching a video and asking others around me. Once I learned how to do this it became a lot easier.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the difficulty of the codes. The reason why I would change it is because I believe I could make more complex codes. Instead of making a bunch of small codes I could have made 4 or 5 complex codes.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. Computer programmers write and test codes that allow computer software to function properly.
My project connects to careers in Programming analyst because we both work with software programming and system analysis. During this project I programmed about 13 codes. With each of these codes I tested them and made corrections if needed.
