7P8 Virtual Reality

                                                             Reflection

• Using Cospaces, a computer, and an iPad I created a VR pirate adventure. Because I wanted to make an interactive story that can be played. Also, I wanted to build a world that is interesting to explore.

• During this process, I learned how to create and code my own VR world. I also learned how to use screen record on an iPad.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to creative communicator because I used a computer to design a VR world that I could share using VR.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing how to screen record. I was able to do it by looking up how to screen record on an iPad and realizing that all I had to do was swipe down on the corner and click the screen record button.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change adding the airplane. The reason why I would change it is because the airplane does nothing to help the VR world.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in web development, computer systems analyzation, and software development.
