I will create a video using iMovie and my copyright free images explaining the topic of why basketball is the best winter sport.
The unique qualities of your project?
I will use unique combinations of images and background sound effects to create an iMovie on my topic and use editing of copyright free images to create my iMovie.

Created website and worked on the planning of my project. I learned how to use iMovie and how to create a website.

Looked for copyright free images on the internet to use in my iMovie. I learned how to find copyright free images to use in an iMovie.

Learned how to add background sound and edit the Ken Burn's effect. While adding copyright free pictures. I learned how to use iMovie editing to disable and enable the Ken Burns effect and how to add sound efeects and images to an iMovie.
My Movie.movUsing iMovie, an iPad, copyright free images, and a microphone, I created a video about why basketball is the best winter sport. because I wanted to explain why basketball is the best winter sport to end all debates about this fact.
During this process, I learned how to use iMovie. Also I learned the difference between creative commons licenses and other licenses. Finally I learned how to edit videos, such as adding sound effects, add images and enable/disable the ken burns effect, etc.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to being a digital citizen because I found copyright free images to use in my video. It could also tie into global collaborator because I put a video on the internet for the world to see.
A challenge I overcame on this project was finding copyright free images. I was able to do it by trying to find copyright free images by adjusting my searching to more general topics to make it easier to find images of what I wanted. However, I still feel I could have been able to find better images for my video had I had more time.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the images I used. The reason why I would change it is because some of the images aren't of the best quality and I couldn't get an image of everything I wanted. I could've done this by spending more time looking for better copyright free images, and changing my searches to more general topics such as; basketball players, basketball, etc. I also would want to

My project connects to careers in video editing such as, directing video technician, production assistant, special effects coordinator, screenwriter, casting assistant, and a whole lot more. This connects to these careers because of the fact that it uses editing of videos like; adding images, sound effects, using voiceovers, etc.
