The transition from GCSE to Post 16 study can be challenging for students due to more demanding course content and academic rigour, particularly for A - Level study. We would encourage students to prepare for Post 16 study pathways when they complete their Year 11 examinations. 

We strongly encourage all of our Year 11 students to complete the transition activities provided by local Post 16 providers, and to also look at and visit the 6th Forms they have applied for online and at open days that are advertised before students enrol in the Autumn term.
