Careers guidance is offered to all students in the school, with guidance meetings scheduled at key transition points in Years 9, 10, and 11 when students consider their GCSE and Post 16 options pathways. Additional guidance meetings are available upon request using the button at the top of this page. Students have the opportunity to request a 1:1 meeting with a suitably qualified careers specialist as and when they require them.
We ensure that careers guidance remains impartial and promotes the best interests to students who receive it. Hastings employs a part time CDI (Careers Development Institute) certified and registered careers specialist to ensure that guidance is impartial, robust and beneficial to all learners.
Additionally, all students have the opportunity to receive 1:1 guidance and support via their Morrisby profile accounts.
