Vocational Courses

Vocational courses

Vocational courses are designed to help you learn in a practical way about a specific job area. Vocational courses can help you get the skills you need to start a job, progress in a career or go on to higher education. If you know what job or job sector you want to go into you may want to study a vocational qualification.

These include BTECS, NVQ's and Apllied courses that offer job specific training at various levels at Levels 1-3. Students can follow this pathway to lead to university study, but this is dependent on the university course applied for and individual university entry requirements.

Vocational courses are  mainly offered by local colleges such as NWSLC, Leicester College, SMB and WCG.
