Outdoor Learning

We believe that learning outside of the classroom can inspire and enhance children's learning opportunities in many different ways. Every class is timetabled for an outdoor learning session every week. Examples of recent outdoor learning across the school have included:

• 3D art sculptures inspired by Andy Goldsworthy

• Baking bread on a fire inspired by the stone age people

• Mini beast hunts using our pond area

• Classification of leaves and plants

• Den building in DT lessons

• Map work around the school

• Shadows in science
