Residential Visits

In Year Four, the children are offered the opportunity to take part in a two night, three day (Friday to Sunday) residential visit. This is then built on in Year Six when they are given the chance to attend a four night, five day visit. The trips are both open to all children in the year group.

Residential trips are amazing opportunities and we ensure that the children will experience new activities, build their confidence, resilience, independence, teamwork and many more skills during their time away with us.

Currently, our Year Four students and staff visit a PGL adventure site called Windmill Hill in East Sussex. Here they take part in activities such as zip lining, orienteering, raft building, archery, giant swing and campfire. Previous years have visited sites in Wiltshire and Suffolk.

Year Six currently visit a charity called UKSA (United Kingdom Sailing Academy) in Cowes on the Isle of Wight. Here, they take part in a variety of water sports activity including kayaking, raft building, windsurfing, paddleboarding, keel boating and more! In years gone by, past Year Six cohorts have visited Amsterdam in Holland!
