Planning a Trip On a Budget

Students will collaboratively plan a vacation within a specific budget. Students will research travel destinations, expenditures involved in the vacation and plan accordingly to their budget. After groups have planned their travel destination and budgeted accordingly, students will present their vacation plan to the other students. Following all presentations, students will reflect upon their plans and budgets in comparison to the other vacation presentations. Reflections will be completed through argumentative essays defending their budget planning or reflecting upon what they would do differently.
