Entrepreneurship Project

Project Purpose:

The purpose of this project was to develop the spirit of entrepreneurship in our 6th grade students and foster a better understanding of the challenges entrepreneurs face. Our students rose to the task admirably and we are very proud of their efforts. Some of their efforts are included in this video. We would have liked to have included them all, but a reasonable viewing time does not allow it. We hope you will find these students work as fine as we do.

This project went really well. Students were able to research real world entrepreneurs, and use that information to help guide them in their endeavor. The businesses created by many of the students, in our opinion, actually have a chance to succeed in the real world. If this project helped just one or two students believe and understand that they are capable of owning and running their own businesses, it was an unqualified success in our opinion.
