We are excited to present our 2021 Elementary, Middle School, and High School STEAM Showcase as part of our STEAM initiative. Over 50 projects have been submitted by teachers and students through the school system that will help build our students' creativity, critical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving.

STEAM in Hart County
Hart County educators believe that STEAM is an integral part of the instructional process and is one of the main instructional tools we implement for helping our students reach our system mission and vision:
Mission: The mission of the Hart County Charter System is to prepare all individuals to meet tomorrow’s challenges by providing quality educational opportunities today.Vision: Hart County Schools will be recognized for educational excellence.
What does that mean? We believe that in order to prepare our students for the challenges of tomorrow we have to provide opportunities daily for students to think critically, be creative, and collaborate with their peers. If we provide those opportunities for students each day, they will be prepared for their tomorrow.
Our STEAM initiative is one for the many ways we look to complete that mission and vision. As a result for the past three years, we have partnered with a national trainer, Eric White, to provide ongoing instruction in Project-Based Learning. Our belief is that Project-Based Learning through STEAM will help develop our core Charter goals of Literacy, High Expectations, and College and Career Expectations.
