I wanna Hold your hand

Welcome back, GPHS! We are delighted to have you rejoin us! To our first-timers, and to any newly-arrived freshies that magically found our beautiful organization, The Scroll, welcome! As a quick recap (or introduction), we are the school's newspaper.  The Scroll used to be a physical paper that was distributed to our community but, as times change, so must we. Therefore, we are now a hip digital site. Topics each month will vary, depending on the chosen content of each of our dedicated writers. As a school newspaper, it is our goal to keep our audience up-to-date on events, school changes, staff and student matters, and any little-known secrets that our readers might want to know about. With every new month comes a new theme to match our chosen vibes, in hopes of uplifting anyone who needs some color-- not this month, though.

Don't forget to look at the polls for festive surveys. This month, we have a #ghosthunt across the whole issue. Fill out the poll to let us know how many you found. Happy Halloween and happy new school year, everyone!

As always, take care of yourselves and...

Thanks for Scrolling!

Quotes From Our Team!

"Joining The Scroll gave me a space to write about whatever I wanted, and the community is my biggest safe space within GPHS now. I never thought I would be into journalism until I made the decision to try it out.

-Amber Medina-Montoya, Senior, PR Director for The Scroll

"Journalism is the window to the skin of unions," was once said by one of our long-lost Scrollian beings. We live by that."

-Anonymous Journalist

"The Scroll gives me a way to continue to explore my creative abilities in a way that gives other people a source of entertainment, joy and happiness.

-Nathaniel Lee, Creative Writer

"I love journalism because it lets everyone else know what's happening in my head. My head has the most important thoughts. That's a joke. It is important to note that that was a joke."

-Riley Barta, Scroll Secretary

How We Organize Our Issues

Our Homepage houses important info and featured content that we want front and center of the issue. Usually, we will also have a quick monthly snippet about seasonal events. All other articles are usually available under our category drop-down boxes and more categories can be found under the "More v" button. To access instructions on how to navigate the issues, click the drop-down menu under The Scroll Home Page and click the "How To Access Our Issues" tab. Our more informational sections are on their own towards the bottom such as the Scroll feedback survey and Contact The Scroll! with meeting times and contact information.

If you have any further questions, you can contact our team advisor and president at these emails:
