Art Along the Rogue is one of Grants Pass' prime events. It is a chalk art and music festival that is hosted in downtown Grants Pass. This festival attracts thousands of visitors from all over. This year's festival will be on Oct. 6-8th. This is Grants Pass’ 20-year anniversary of Art Along the Rogue. This year, their theme is “Blockbusters on the Block.” This is a great opportunity for coming together as a community and supporting other fellow artists. Come be a part of our biggest festival yet!
23 Screams presents The Fort Vannoy Farms Haunted Corn Maze! There are 19 rooms of horror, such as clowns, vampires, and zombies, as well as spooky sound effects from the corn maze. This is not to be recommended for young children. Weather may create muddy paths and/or rain, so please dress appropriately. There will be warm beverages and tasty treats available at the farm stand, as well. The event days will be Oct. 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27 and 28 from 8:00 pm - 11:00 pm and Oct. 22, 29, and 31 from 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm. You can buy tickets here! Fort Vannoy Farms Tickets
On Friday the 13th of Oct. 2023, put on your fanciest old Hollywood evening wear and go visit the Murder on the Rogue night of mystery at the Taprock Northwest Grill events room. You will enjoy dinner and watch an interactive show where you help solve the mystery of whodunnit. The theater event starts at 5:00 pm with a yappy hour and then a silent auction from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Tickets can be bought at Rogue Valley Humane Society (429 NW Scenic Dr.) for $75 each. If you want to attend, then act quickly! There are limited tickets.
On Saturday, Oct. 21 at 6:00 pm, for a cost $10, Pioneer Spirits Come Alive. Living History Players entertain their viewers by reenacting different people from this country's history. This is motivated by a group of Josephine county citizens who have a passion for history. The purpose and goals of the Josephine County Historical Society are to establish a museum for artifact collections and exhibits and to organize a research library for paper documents and research.
