  • Money as You Grow for Young Children. This financial education website has activities and conversation starters to help children develop money skills, habits, and attitudes.
• Books
  • The Berenstain Bears Trouble With Money by Stan and Jan Berenstain. To earn coins for a video game, Brother and Sister Bear find ways to work for money.
  • Just Saving My Money by Mercer Mayer. In this story, the character learns the value of a dollar after he has to save his own money in order to buy a new skateboard.
  • Do I Need It? Or Do I Want It?: Making Budget Choices by Jennifer S. Larson. This book explains how to make a budget and stick to it, how to decide if something is a need or a want, why it is important to have a budget, and how to save and spend money wisely.
