The Firmware Test Board (FTB) was designed to support firmware development for the EVT Core platform. This board emulates functions of various PCBs, which allows prototyping of new code. The platform will be used by firmware engineers in parallel with electrical subsystem schematic and PCB development in order to make sure properly validated code is ready by the time hardware is ready. This platform also allows non-firmware EVT members to write and test code for their own applications.
