Integration Leads: Aries Ho and Evan Swartvagher
Integration Team Information
The goal of the integration team is to ensure that all motorcycle systems seamlessly work together. The team is responsible for working with the mechanical, electrical, and firmware teams to determine the overall layout of components on the bike. They will maintain a system diagram of all mechanical and electrical interactions on the bike, and use this to optimize the location, protection, and interconnection of these systems.
Subteams
Enclosures
Responsible for the design, simulation, test, and implementation of cases for motorcycle electrical components. This team owns the protection for the LVSS, BMS, IMU, Gateway, 12V battery, traction battery, motor controller, and any other electronics that may be implemented in the future. They will work with wiring team to determine the optimal locations for electronics on the bike, and create mounting and cases for them in these places. The goal for the team is to meet IP65 protection over the entire motorcycle.
Wiring
Responsible for understanding the complete system functionality of components on the motorcycle, and using this knowledge to recommend electronics locations throughout the bike. Will generate a wiring diagram of all systems, complete with pinouts and labels of data flow. Use the wiring diagram to find the most efficient and clean routing path between all systems, and execute the wiring of the bike.
