Device Documentation

As a team, we use a number of devices to facilitate testing and development. However, each time a member begins using a device they haven't used before, either a member familiar with that device must explain how to use it, or that member has to spend some time learning how to use that device. That time spent learning, although useful, can slow down the task at hand, so it should be minimized as much as possible. The goal of this page is to serve as a resource for information about each of the devices we use regularly across the team. If there's a device you want to use but that doesn't yet have documentation, reach out to senior members of the team and the firmware lead to see if anyone on the team has experience with that device. Whether you are able to get some help or not, be sure to create a sub-page of this page for the device and record all the information you can about the device to prevent other members from having to deal with the same problem in the future.
