The firmware team's ramp-up project is a series of tasks to help you familiarize yourself with the many tools and communication protocols we use on the team. Before you get started, be sure to complete your Environment Setup, familiarize yourself with Running Code, and at least skim through the other new member pages. Once you are set up enough to run code on the Nucleos, you can go to the ramp-up GitHub page to clone it and read through the README. This project will take you through all the basic steps of working on embedded development with EVT, and the README should provide you all the information you need to get started. For additional help, the samples in EVT-core provide a great example to get yourself started, and online information along with this site should tell you everything you need to know to complete the project.
You are encouraged to talk to other new members working on the ramp-up and senior members of the team. That said, if you're new to embedded development, you should expect to need a few weeks to develop an understanding of everything going on. This project will take some time, but it will hopefully be interesting and fun along the way.
