An Adhesive Dispense Profile Tested
A bead of epoxy is placed along the bandolier and the adhered to the cells placed downward in the blue jig as pictured above.
2. Epoxy is then placed on the alternate side.
3. Cells are placed on top and referenced physically to the jig.
4. Once both sets of cells are placed, use a clamping force combined with the free other side of the jig.
5. The epoxy was set to cure under pressure for 24hr in an environment according to the epoxy spec sheet.
6. Bandoliers curing for 24 hours.
7. Once cured, bandoliers were snapped into the rear bulkhead.
8. Sidebands were then attached using plastic thread forming screws.
9. This completes the mini module assembly.
10. Prototype was to showcase and test assembly methodologies for larger modules and not completely representative of the final design.
