Step 1: Get a Sharpie to mark the point in which you cut the outer insulation (there are three layers)
Step 2: Align ring connector to 2 gauge wire, cutting ~1/8th inch further down for added connection protection
Step 3: Cut the outer insulation and pull back the shielding.
Step 4: Cut the inner-most insulation and cut the shielding (make sure there aren't any stray pieces that could cause any shorting).
Step 5: Check the ring connector fitting to make sure it is seated properly.
Step 6: Use the hydraulic crimping tool with the size 35 die.
Step 7: Place the ring and 2 gauge wire in the hydraulic crimp. Press the handle until it is locked in place. Be sure that the turn gauge is tighted
Step 8: Cut heat shrink to the desired size
Step 9: Heat shrink
Step 10: Heat shrunk
