Dyno Testing

Refer to page 59 of the manual

Open the software

Open the emsiso CAN logger connected

Open the emdrive configurator

Going into network, go into connection

Refresh ports and open corresponding port to CAN logger

Go to nodes and scan and download node 1

Go into SDOBROWSER, set mode of operation to 9 or 10

Add corresponding slider

Add two shortcuts, one for control word set to 6 to turn it off and 15 to turn it on PWM

Go into PDO and right click any parameter you want to watch and add to watch

Once ready go into reset and set to operational then press control word 6 then control word 15

Go to SDOBROWSER and search for error codes in the error codes parameter

Can then take any values and the object values and convert it to hex and then go into the emdrive manual to find out the error code

Bit values can be read in the warning register which will tell you where the error is coming from, from the corresponding bit
