Topic Area: 2nd Semester Scheduling

Objective: Students will preview and/or request edits for their 2nd semester schedule and reflect on video.

2nd Semester Schedule (project for students to see)

Procedures:

Part I

• 1. Have students review their 2nd semester schedule in PowerSchool.

  2. Review Slide Show with students.

  3. As students view their schedule, answer questions as needed and/or refer to the syllabus. If a student would like to request a change they will need to email their counselor and set up an appointment during a non-academic time.

  4. Remind students the only changes they can make is adding/dropping electives- they cannot change th order of the classes or select teachers.

  5. Please do not send students down during this lesson! Students- do not visit your counselor regarding your schedule unless you have a scheduled appt.
