Topic: Team Building/Trying new things

Objective: Students will spend time connecting with peers and Connections teacher, as well as, watching a couple fun/inspiring videos.

• YouTube videos (see below)

Procedures:

• Give students a few minutes to think about experiences/activities they would like to have while in High School

• Ask students to share out 1 new thing/activity they have done while in High School or that they would like to try.

  • Be part of a play, try a new sport, be a manager for a team, volunteer, etc. It would be great for you to share first. :)

• Have a short discussion with the students.
