Topic: Mental Health - Stress
Objective: Students will learn what stress is and will identify their level of stress, along with ways to cope with it.
ASCA Mindsets & Behaviors Standard (s): M 1: Belief in development of whole self, including a healthy balance of mental, social/emotional and physical well being.

Procedures:
1. Have students number scratch paper from 1- 14. Open stress test link and instruct students to take test. STRESS TEST LINK
2. Review slideshow with students.
3. Watch video linked below.
4. Have students brainstorm healthy and unhealthy ways to cope with stress. Share the list from the powerpoint after.
5. Share "Self-Care Calendar" (linked above). Have students number off and share out an example of what the activity or item might look like for them or another person (the number they have corresponds to the dates on the calendar). Encourage students to try to do some of these this month!
