The Center for Global Education, to which Type U students are affiliated, offers “Global Liberal Arts Courses (GLA)”. There are courses conducted not only in English but also in six other languages: Russian, Korean, Chinese, German, French, and Spanish. GLA focus on themes related to SDGs such as gender, diversity, health, poverty, GX (Green Transformation), in an interactive small-group format. When enrolling in GLA Courses, ensure that you meet the aforementioned requirements.

USTEP Type Uの学生が所属するグローバル教育センターは、「グローバル教養科目（GLA科目）」を提供しています。英語で実施される科目のほか、ロシア語、韓国朝鮮語、中国語、ドイツ語、フランス語、スペイン語の６言語で実施される科目があります。ジェンダー、多様性、健康、貧困、GX（グリーントランスフォーメーション）などのSDGsに関連するテーマに焦点を当て、インタラクティブな小規模グループ形式で行われます。GLA科目に履修登録する際は、登録要件を満たしていることを確認してください。

The Center for Global Education also offer Language-Global Liberal Arts (L-GLA) courses, provide students with the opportunity to develop advanced language proficiency. L-GLA will be offered in six languages: Russian, Korean, Chinese, German, French, and Spanish. (For the 2025 A semester, courses will be available only in Russian, Korean, and Chinese.)

*L-GLA courses focus on language acquisition skills. Students who use the language as their first language or whose proficiency does not meet the standards set by the instructor are not eligible to register. Please check with the instructor before enrolling in the course to confirm your eligibility.​ 

グローバル教育センターではさらに、​少人数で行われるインタラクティブな授業を通して高度な語学力の習得を目指す「グローバル教養言語科目（L-GLA科目）」をロシア語、韓国朝鮮語、中国語、ドイツ語、フランス語、スペイン語の６言語について提供します。（2025年度Aセメスターはロシア語、韓国朝鮮語、中国語の３言語のみ）。

※グローバル教養言語科目は、高度な語学力の習得を目指すものです。そのため、当該言語を第一言語とする学生や同等の運用能力をもつ学生、または当該言語能力が教員の定める基準に達していない場合は履修できません。実際に履修可能かどうかは、事前に授業担当教員に確認してください。
