Objects are the templates In Salesforce which store Information, and allow us to connect pieces of Information across the business.
Objects can be thought of as spreadsheets. Objects contain up to 500 fields of Information, and can house multiple records. For Instance, the Product object contains Information about vehicles and parts that we sell. The Fields of the product object are stock number, description, age of listing, etc. There are approximately 500 fields on the Product object. And we have multiple records of products representing each vehicle and part that we offer for sale.
