At Brindlee, the onboarding process is driven by our HR systems and departmental supervisors to ensure an effective and efficient overall introduction to our company, values, principles and processes. Our "Brindlee 101" presentation below serves as a high-level introduction to our company and how we strive to be excellent in every aspect of buying, selling and fixing used fire trucks. Other tools and videos below are utilized in the general onboarding process as it pertains to our systems and standard operating procedures. Reach out to hr@firetruckmall.com with any questions.
In order to clock in/out, you must first log into Salesforce and access the Time Tracking App.

The onboarding process is formulated around Onboarding Checklists which detail the steps required for successfully onboarding a new employee. A copy is made of the original checklist and created for each new hire. The new hire's checklist is saved in the corresponding folder with titled with their name located on Google Drive in the HR --> Onboarding Lifecycle --> Employee Checklists folder.
The new hire's checklist is then linked in Salesforce under the Employee Object in the New Hire Checklist section as seen below.
The onboarding process is different when it comes to Ops team members versus Office team members.
See the Checklists below for access to each:

In order to ensure the new hire feels welcome and expectations are effectively communicated, several email templates have been drafted to send the new hire at specific points prior to their first day. This template log can be found HERE.
New hires have 30 days to complete their new hire enrollment. Even if they are choosing not to elect benefits offered by Brindlee, it is required that new hires decline coverages that they are not interested in or choosing not to elect.
In the new hire enrollment period, new employees have the option to enroll themselves or schedule a phone consultation with a benefits counselor to guide them through enrollment and answer any questions they may have about benefit specifics.
New hires can schedule their enrollment session with a certified benefit counselor here - www.NEPenroll.me/Brindlee
