At Brindlee Mountain, every full-time employee receives two performance reviews per year. The cycle currently includes mid-year and end-of-year reviews. At each review, the employee can provide input into their performance, followed by feedback from their supervisor with the opportunity to have a career conversation. Reviews at Brindlee Mountain are designed to be a two-way conversation of input, feedback, praise, and development opportunities.
Reviews at Brindlee Mountain are completed in the iSolved "Share & Perform" platform.
At the beginning of the process, the employee being reviewed will receive an email from the iSolved-Share & Perform platform. After clicking the link in the email, employees can self-review their performance on a numerical rating and add comments under the Employee areas of the template. Input from the employee should be crafted to shape a constructive and honest career conversation with his or her manager. The Manager column is reserved for the manager's review. When filling out the review online in Share & Perform, the review auto-saves every few seconds, with the time stamps being visible. Also, you can partially complete the review, save it, and return to it later.
The review sections for the employee to complete can vary depending on the options selected by the administrator when the template was created. The goal is for the self-review questions to be relevant and helpful in assessing performance against targets and other items such as job satisfaction, opportunities for improvement, and feedback on team dynamics.
To complete the Employee portion of the review, Click the pink SUBMIT button at the top of the screen. Once SUBMIT is selected, the employee cannot reaccess the review without Administrator assistance. This action will email your supervisor to say that you have completed your part of the review. The employee has completed their review portion at this step and can wait for the supervisor to schedule an in-person conversation.
The complete process overview in 5 steps:
An employee fills it out their portion in Share & Perform
The supervisor fills out their portion in Share & Perform but holds on submitting it in the system
An in-person meeting is held to discuss the review document (input from emp. and sup)
Additional content can be added from the result of the in-person meeting
The Final Review Document is submitted in Share & Perform
Supervisors should wait for the assigned performance review template to be shared by the administrator (employees can only see the assigned template and review their performance after the administrator shares it through their Org Dashboard).
Complete Employee Review
Supervisors will receive a notification when you need to complete a review. Click on the notification to be directed to the Performance Review page where your review can be performed. Select “View” next to the employee’s name you wish to review.
Fill in the “Supervisor Ratings,” “Supervisor Comments” and the “Supervisor Recommendations” if applicable. Note: The contents of the review will vary depending on the template set up by the administrator who created the review.
The Save icon at the top of the screen allows the supervisor to partially complete a review and return to it later. It is recommended the supervisor schedule a face to face with the team member before Submitting. This allows the supervisor to add additional insights into comments if desired. Click on the Submit icon to submit a completed review.
After the in-person meeting happens, the employee should be assigned the ability to see the supervisor's comments. The employee will receive an email notification, and after a final look, should click the pink 'Sign Off' icon at the bottom of the page. The supervisor will then see an email prompting to also 'Sign Off' and finalize the Performance Review.
