Currently, through Principal, employees are eligible to contribute and change their contribution % and/or $ amount at any time during their employment.
Employees can begin contributing at any time.
The company match starts the first of the month following 1 year of service.
The company will match dollar for dollar up to 3% -- with employee contributions of any amount over 3% to 5% being matched at 50%.
There is no vesting schedule. Employee and employer contributions are made weekly.
All funds belong to the employee at time of remittance.
In order to start contributing or change your contribution rate, you must first contact HR with your desired dollar/percentage amount to be applied to your payroll deduction.
Email: HR@firetruckmall.com to begin, update, or change your rate of contribution.
Only after notifying HR will your Principal account be activated.
If you have contacted HR and set up a retirement contribution rate you should have access and can log into Principal here to adjust your beneficiary settings
