Proctors administering a paper test must read the NTN Paper Administration Script (found in each PBT test section) to candidates before the test begins.
Prepare check-in materials and Confidentiality and Nondisclosure/Release and Waiver of Liability agreement forms.
Prepare answer sheets and other materials necessary for the test.
Prepare DVD and be sure all seats can easily view the video and hear the audio
Seat candidates randomly around the room, leaving the front row empty for those who cannot see.
Welcome candidates and thank them for choosing National Testing Network
Remind candidates there is no talking during the exam
Let candidates know if they cannot hear or see to alert a proctor and they may be seated at another desk.
Pass out the test materials.
Be available to answer questions and troubleshoot the video playback if need be.
Read aloud the verbal instructions and play the DVD according to the the specific exam you are administering.
Consistently monitor the candidates and walk around the testing area
Be available for any questions that candidates have during administration
Thank the candidates for attending.
Collect all test materials from candidates and make sure you receive everything back.
Prepare materials to be sent in for scoring.
Mark no-show candidates with an ‘x’ on the printed schedule and do the same in the online proctor page.
Log into ExamHQ and submit all answer sheets (front and back) and printed schedule with no-shows marked.
Secure all test administration materials in a locked cabinet.
After PBT administrations, all test material should be sent the same day to National Testing Network for scoring via ExamHQ (highly preferred) or overnight UPS or FedEx only. US Postal Service is not acceptable.

Candidate Check-In List with no-shows indicated
Bubble answer sheets (front and back)
CPAT Worksheet (applicable to physical abilities testing)
PAT Worksheet (applicable to physical abilities testing)
Incident/Observation Report Writing Tests (if applicable, without scratch paper)
