The decision to close a test center due to extreme weather conditions, emergencies or other reasons must be made by an authorized proctor or onsite coordinator at the testing center. This decision is not made by National Testing Network.
The test site should contact candidates no later than 2 hours prior to the affected day’s scheduled test(s)
The test site should notify the affected candidates of the closure and direct them to contact NTN Support with a reschedule request.
The test site should submit an Incident Report that your test center is closed and why.
Alert NTN Support by calling in if possible, to alert us of the issue so that we can work on reschedules for the candidates.
Do not mark these candidates as No-Shows.
If an unplanned emergency or other event that prevents testing to occur for more than 15 minutes, proctors should:
Collect all answer sheets
Direct candidates to log out of their online exam.
Offer to candidates the opportunity to reschedule their exam to another date by directing them to contact NTN Support to be rescheduled.
Submit an Incident Report that your test center is closed and why.
