Welcome to the 2018-19 Student Senate Mentorship and Guidance Committee’s website! For the topic of Mentorship and Guidance, we, the Student Senate, would like to provide support systems for our students. These include:
providing stories of real-life experiences of people from different walks of life more accessible to students across the District,
supportive community organizations that you can contact, and
stories from EPSB staff who have guidance and mentorship experience.
We hope that you can learn from their stories, and perhaps find some inspiration from their interesting experiences.
Experience and advice from individuals in high school and in university
Experience and advice from staff members, including success coaches, teachers, etc.
Organizations that focus on helping students academically, mentally, or provide support to students and their contact information.
We hope you find some guidance and inspiration from these individuals’ stories and these local organizations. Remember that it is always okay to reach out and ask for help because there is bound to be someone who can assist you.
