Spelling is the way in which you write things. You spell words. Today, I'm going to teach you a few tips and tricks for some tricky words to master.
Now, this spelling list is just a list of some hard words with examples on how to master them, but, of course, your spelling list will most likely be different.

A good way to memorise and spell your words correctly is writing sentences with them. Here is an example for the word CHOREOGRAPHY.
My ballet teacher is very kind so she went over the choreography until we learnt it.
This is a good way of remembering spelling. Another way of memorising spelling words is by testing yourself. The way to do this is by writing out your spelling words on a piece of paper and then giving them to a friend/parent/sibling to read out to you. Then, you can see what your score is.
If you don't have anyone available to test you, you can use the LOOK, COVER, WRITE, CHECK method to test yourself.
I know what your thinking, and, no, a spelling bee is NOT a bee with a spelling career. A spelling bee is a spelling competition where you spell words OUT LOUD and compete with other people doing the same thing. If you are practising for a spelling bee, it's a good idea to practice in front of toys and/or family and friends.
*Stage fright can also affect you when participating in a spelling bee. For more information on stage fright, go to our 'PUBLIC SPEAKING' tab
