Persuasive writing (a persuasive text) is a text used to persuade someone to do something. For example, lets say that you really, really, really wanted a kitten but your parents said no, you would write a persuasive text to persuade them t buy you a kitten
Step 1: The first step to any good piece of persuasive writing is to know what you're going to be persuading the reader to do. Lets use the kittens example again. If you really wanted kittens, your persuasive text might start like this: I strongly believe that you should buy me kittens for me to play with and care for.
Step 2: A good persuasive text will also usually have 3-5 well built paragraphs with plenty of information. Remember that 1 of the paragraphs has to be an introduction and another 1 one of the paragraphs has to be the the finishing speech. Remember to make the last paragraph very strong and possibly the strongest of all to leave the reader touched. Using the kitten example, your last paragraph might be: And this is why that i think that it is absolutely vital that you buy me a kitten.
Step 3: At the end, remember to edit your text and double check it makes sense. Try to have a few of these language features:
Emotive language
Descriptive language
Alliteration
Similes
Metaphors
