Hi guys, I was thinking, what's life with a bit of creativity? So, I've decided to make an art section based on literacy. Lets take a look!

Alphabet art!

Hi there! Lets draw the first letter of the alphabet. A!

Step 1.

First, draw a large, upside down U shape near the top of your paper

Step 2.

Then, continue the U shape and slightly curve the edges.

Step 3.

Lastly, pull the curve that you did in the last step up, and connect it with a bigger curve. After the A shape has more or less taken shape, draw an O shape right in the middle of it.

Spelling Bee Art

Hi there! Today, we're going to be drawing a spelling bee! lets take a look!

Step 1.

Draw a flat, loaf- of- bread sort of shape in the middle of the page. *Note: the bigger this shape is, the bigger your spelling bee will be

Step 2.

Add some details to the bee such as wings, stripes and a face

Step 3.

Start drawing a dash trail leading from the bee's behind. The trail can zig-zag, twist, turn and do whatever you want. Be creative!

Step 4.

Draw a small sign at the end of the dash trail. It can say whatever you want, but mine will say 'Spelling Bee'

Step 5.

Color Your spelling bee in! You can do patterns, or just solid colors. Enjoy!

Letter Art

Hi again! Today, I'm going to show you how to do a fun letter art. Let's take a look!

Step 1.

Firstly, use a led pencil to LIGHTLY draw letters all over your page.

Step 2.

Outline each letter in black/navy pen/sharpie.

Step 3.

Next, colour in your letters. *. See how effective that looks!
