One of the best things about books is that there is something for everyone. The best places to find a good book for you to read are either your closest public library or your closest bookstore. If you need help finding a book good for you, ask your parents, a sibling or a friend

Types of books:

There are many types of books about lots of different topics. My personal favorite types are fantasy and adventure, but everyone has a different pick!

Try This At Home:

Write your own book! You can make it about your favorite topic or whatever you want! Think about your characters and your setting.

About books:

Ok, so, lets start with the basics. The front of the book is called the cover, the writing on the cover is called the title, the side part of it is called the spine and the writing on the back of it is called the blurb. There is also the end papers at the beginning and end of a book. The person who writes the book is called the Author, and the person who does the drawings (illustrations) is called the illustrator.

Try This At Home:

Draw a book in a way that all the parts of it are visible and label the parts. Then, you can colour in and decorate the book.
