ELJam Studios 

We're thrilled to be offering mentored practice sessions and rehearsal studios at four locations across East Lothian.

Bands/acts/individuals can book in to rehearsal slots on Friday afternoons between 1 and 4pm (Tranent, Wallyford & Dunbar) and will be hosted by a professional musician. All equipment, including instruments, can be provided and mentoring is available for tips on playing, performing and writing music. We can also offer recording opportunities at some venues. Ask the studio mentor if you're interested.

*New Venue* We will be launching ELJam Studios at Port Seton Community Centre on Tuesday 11 November 2025. Tuesday evening sessions will run between 5 and 8pm every Tuesday of term time.

We would like the studios to be spaces where young musicians can meet and form new bands or where bands and individual musicians can find each other, so we're also able to offer drop-in, informal jam sessions as well. Each venue can develop its own programme and community, so if you want to get involved, make sure you get booked in and discuss your requirements with the mentors!
