The CAS stages framework is designed to help the students to plan and execute their CAS experiences, but especially the project. It promotes self-awareness, and enhances their willingness to move out of their comfort zone. It supports different learning styles and develops the ability to collaborate and communicate and not the least develops attributes of the IB learner profile.
Students should be able to show evidence of the stages used, this evidence should be uploaded on a regular basis on the CAS portfolio in ManageBac.
The CAS stages must be used for every project, and ideally for most of the experiences.
